#1 Guinness Open Gate Brewery
Some of the best brews in Baltimore County can be found at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery. It’s open Thursday through Sunday with limited capacity in accordance with COVID regulations.
If you visit in person, you can enjoy the beer garden, a variety of food trucks, and great pub snacks in the taproom.
To get the Guinness Experience from a safer distance, you can sign up for virtual tours and learn about the more than 260 years of Guinness history. You can even enjoy a virtual guided tasting. Curbside pickup is also available.
“Really COVID friendly! I wasn’t sure how crowded it would be as the weather starts getting nicer, but the tables were huge and very separated from other tables. Our hostess Autumn was so friendly and consistent with checking in on us. The spicy crab dip was so good and more than enough to split between two people, and the new (I think) Clover Honey Ale was perfectly light for a spring day.”

“I dined here tonight for the first time since covid, and it was still just as enjoyable. Keeping a warm and inviting environment during a global pandemic is challenging to say the least. Above all, your staff is absolutely outstanding. 10/10”
– Meaghan Clark
“This place is huge. And so good. Food nice. Beers top class. Outdoor seating – fantastic. Their gift shop is pretty good. I like the hoodies.”
– Purvesh Desai
