We as a team offer residential and commercial services – including large commercial buildings, government facilities and anything you may need. There is no job, too big or too small.
Contrary to what most people think, there are different ways to use a this kind of technique, depending on what surface you’re trying to clean. For tough surfaces, a stronger technique is fine but for softer surfaces, it’s safer to use a softer technique.
This technique is a fairly new method that’s used in order to get more delicate surfaces clean. We put a special nozzle at the end of the pressure washer and use a special environmentally friendly detergent to get the job done. The pressure that comes out of the hose in soft washing can be compared to the pressure that comes out of a garden hose. This isn’t a ton of pressure but with the detergent, it can really get things as clean as they need to be in order to get rid of contaminants and protect the surface.
This softer technique is best used for surfaces such as siding, roofs, decks, patio furniture, and other things that would be damaged if the full pressure from a pressure washer was used.
Yes! This is what a lot of our clients are concerned about and understandably so! Our job is to not only get your surfaces clean but to educate you on our processes.
The environmentally friendly detergent that is used does most of the heavy lifting. We use a pump sprayer to apply the detergent and then we let it sit for a few minutes to do its job. When the detergent is done working, it’s gently washed away along with contaminants, dirt, mold, moss, and any other debris that needs washed off of the surface.
Harder techniques are really good methods for taking care of things like driveways and patios. Sometimes we’ll use chemicals to clean with more force but a lot of the time it’s not necessary. Unlike or softer techniques, where the detergent is the muscle behind the cleaning, this stronger technique uses the force that comes out of the nozzle to do the job.
Our technicians are highly trained and know which method to use with what surface. Sometimes pressure washing will clean well but it’s not safe for all surfaces.
When it comes to windows, we don’t skimp! We also don’t believe in just blasting windows free from dirt. We take the time to make sure that your windows are completely taken care of, intact, and streak free.
It’s easy to let windows go but there’s a lot our customers don’t know about keeping them clean. Not only do they make your home look amazing, they also let in more warmth and light from the sun and can reduce your energy bills.
The general answer to this question very much depends on where you’re located. The trees and vegetation that surround your home or other building play a huge part as well.
If you live in a heavily vegetated area, you may want to get your windows taken care of quarterly. If you’re not in a wooded area and don’t find that your windows get very dirty all that often, you may be able to get away with once or twice per year.
Most clients, especially with quarterly appointments, don’t get every single window cleaned every time. Getting the windows done that get the dirtiest and leaving the rest until the next appointment is a perfectly good option too.
Here at EcoTek Power Wash, we pride ourselves on being able to help you care for your roof. Roofs are one of the least thought about areas of a home and they tend to get the least amount of attention when it comes to cleaning.

Give us a call and we’ll come out and assess your roof’s condition.
Your roof is the first point of contact that the elements have with your house. Even more so if you live in a heavily wooded area or an area that gets a lot of interesting weather. It’s one of the most important structures of your home or office building and it needs to be kept clean and debris free in order for it to continue protecting the underlying elements.
Things like dirt, debris, mold, mildew, and moss can not only create a poor looking roof, certain things like moss can actually damage your shingles by pulling them up if left there for too long. Debris can also build up and keep rainwater from draining off of your roof properly. Standing water from a poor drainage system is detrimental to the health of your entire home.

Patios are a great place in the house for fun and family gatherings. Cookouts and get-togethers cause this area to be a pretty highly used area of your home or office building. Because if the high usage, patios can get very dirty.
An unclean patio is not only unsightly, it can lead to health problems and attract rodents.
We clean your patio with high pressure (in most cases) to ensure that the whole surface is cleaned.
Decks are another area of the home or office building that get a lot of use and traffic, especially during the spring and summer months when entertaining and outdoor activities are high.
Most homeowners either avoid having their patios cleaned because of the fear of damage or they try to power wash it themselves. If the person is not experienced, this can cause damage as well.
We use a softer approach with a gentle detergent to make sure that the surface of your deck gets cleaned but remains undamaged.
Before you take care of your deck yourself and you haven’t done it before, give us a call! The technicians at EcoTek are highly trained to know what chemicals, pressure, and cleaning distance is safe.
